HELP with Homemade POOL? any Expert advice?
-Plain and simple, l want a pool in my backyard but i'm not $Bill Gates$-
l want this pool be an underground one, look unique but
professional. I am wanting a pool about 5-6 feet deep, and have a 15-18
foot radius (width). Here are my ideas of how to build it so far (they may
not be good): 1. Dig my preferred space. Somehow create a
cylindrical frame out of wood, sand it and smooth out the bumbs and sharp
parts. Lower and secure it in the hole.Then not quite sure which to do next. Either place pond liner to seal in a water proof barrier from the soil, or some how brick it up. then last add pumps and other water circulatory systems. -my second idea- 2. Dig cylinder, but this time a slight cone shape opening upwards. Place waterproof barrier (pond liner l guess?), then brick upwards with cement or something?(weird ideas l know but im just not sure how or what to do?) PLEASE, offer any changes, new additions, or totally new ideas. All help is extremely appreciated.
A pool is not a good first time home improvement project. Hire
a pro. Otherwise, you will drive your property value down, jack up your
insurance, and lose more money than you would have spent on a pro.
